We are a couple of Canadian-American social science professors who love the West coast, the ocean, the mountains, the outdoorsy life, and small tourist towns with outsized amenities and charms. We adore Port Townsend's peaceful, nature-embracing, unpretentious, and worldly maritime culture. Our home's marina-side, hillside, gardens-and-views, Dark Sky neighborhood is populated by retired professors, freethinkers, and brown poodles.
