We are a family of 4 living in a traditional home in highly sought after Madison Park neighborhood, located in Seattle, WA. We would like to exchange for a place in Norway, but open to other possibilities in nature, forest, small towns, & mountains. Our home is adult and Kid friendly. Kitchen and bathrooms are functional . Many of the rooms just freshly painted. The dining room opens out to one of three green spaces in the yard. Three bedrooms on the main floor consist of two king bedrooms and one bunk bedroom. The basement is half furnished with a knotty pine den, primarily used as an office space, with a twin bed and bathroom. The other side of basement has the washer, dryer and storage! The lushly landscaped yard includes a grassy side that connects via a pathways on both sides of the house to the open brick patio area. Mature trees surrounding yard create privacy with open spaces above. We are just a few blocks from street-end beaches, the main summer beach area with a park, and Madison Park businesses. Grocery stores, restaurants, and pharmacy all within minutes, but at the house, you'd never know for It is very quiet and peaceful with nice neighbors and well maintained sidewalks. We are minutes from the freeway, 15 minutes to University of Washington, and 20 minutes to Downtown Seattle. West Seattle and Ballard are 45 minutes away and have become bigger bustling neighborhoods next to ocean beaches and are fun to explore. Rivers and Mountains within an hour car ride. Lake Washington is steps away to swim. If you are looking for a hot getaway this summer, Seattle can reach higher temperatures in July and August, making paddle boarding, boating and swimming very refreshing.
