This one-bedroom/one-bathroom, fully furnished basement apartment is located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Washington, DC. There are separate outside entrances in the front and back to the apartment and the owners, along with their two children live upstairs in the main house. There is no connecting inside staircase. All utilities are included in the rent, including Verizon Fios internet and cable. There is a stackable washer/dryer in the apartment. The apartment is pet friendly with a non-refundable $100 pet fee. The apartment is close to a number of bus lines and walkable to two metro stations. Both the Eastern Market metro and the Union Station metro are less than a one mile walk. There is on street parking (with a DC approved parking permit). The apartment is in a charming pocket of Capitol Hill, just steps from the historic Eastern Market and the vibrant shops and cafes along Pennsylvania Avenue and H Street. Tree-lined streets and beautifully preserved rowhouses give our neighborhood a classic D.C. feel, with a strong sense of community and walkability. Easy reach of the U.S. Capitol and the National Mall, blending residential tranquility with iconic landmarks.
