Cosy and bright apartment in a lively area of Brussels with everything you need for a productive and relaxing stay! The apartment: You enter the apartment through a hallway with lots of storage space, from where you can enter the living room and a separate toilet. The living area has a seating area with a comfy sofa, a study area with desk and large screen and an open kitchen with large fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and an oven. The living room gives access to a 8m2 terrace where you can enjoy the Brussels morning sun. The bedroom has a double bed, and ensuite bathroom with bath and a quiet washer-dryer. A cleaning lady can be arranged for a small additional cost (+-15euro/hour). Location: The apartment lies on the corner of the EU quarter and Saint-Josse and is situated centrally between the city center (15' walk) and Ixelles. Though it is a lively area with shops and bars the street is safe since it borders the EU quarter. There is cute parc right around the corner (Square Marie Jose), and the Parc Cinquantenaire and Parc de Bruxelles are both at walking distance and ideal for going running. There is post office and grocery store on the ground floor of the building. There is a gym/squash club around the corner. Lots of great restaurants around (with one of the world's top ranked pizzeria, Piola Pizza, almost at your doorstep)! Transport: The apartment is ideally situated for transportation. There is a bus stop right in front of the building, with buses taking you straight to KU Leuven (1 hour) or to the city center (10'). Villo! bike share station is right in front of entrance. Metro station is at 7' walk, which will take you to VUB Campus Jette. 20' bike ride to VUB Ixelles and ULB Solbosch. Building: The building has 24 floors, 4 elevators and there a guard present day and night, who can accept packages, help with any issues or is available for a friendly chat! There is a gentle and respectful community atmosphere among residents. For this reason, everyone tries to respect the rules with regards to the limitation of noise at night between 10pm and 6am. Practical: this apartment is intended for short-term rental (<3 months), for this reason, registration at the address is not possible.
