Relax in Redondo Beach at our fun, family friendly townhouse!

Description

Our multilevel townhouse is bright, spacious, and peaceful. We are in the back unit so street noise isn't bothersome and we have a wonderful park right around the block. We have a family room, a living room, and a lounge area -- lots of great spaces for writing and working remotely. Our children love having sleepovers with friends and cousins -- so we've got a bunch of beds! Our primary bedroom suite has vaulted ceilings, a king size bed, and a lovely view of Redondo. Our furniture is practical and comfortable -- there's nothing too precious -- our parents, siblings, and friends visit often and we enjoy eating, drinking, and chatting on our outside patio in the lovely Southern California weather. We just added a brand Platinum hot tub which we absolutely love -- we have a feeling you will too! We're also amenable to sharing our cars, carseats, bikes, scooters etc. Basically, we want you to feel l like you have a home away from home when you visit! We love our neighborhood! We're a ten minute walk from the beach and five minutes from Starbucks and a couple of independent coffee shops. There are tons of great restaurants and bars just a quick bike ride away. Freeway access is easy and we're a five minute drive from PCH, Hawthorne, Prospect, and Sepulveda -- all major arteries in the sprawl of LA. Our neighbors are friendly and we live in a great, very safe walking neighborhood. Parks abound, the Redondo Pier is close, and there's a Farmer's Market every Thursday. Vincent Park is just around the block with a swing-set and playground. There are tennis courts across the street at the high school. You're welcome to borrow our tennis racquets and bikes. We're walking distance to a very good public middle school and high school. In August and September the Pacific Ocean is warm enough for swimming, surfing, and paddle boarding, and it's just a 10 minute walk from our house! We'll leave you a list of our favorite places to go, eat, and drink! Let me know if there are any grocery requests you have -- happy to have your fave kind of milk/breakfast/etc stocked when you arrive. We want you and your guests to be able to relax, explore, have a great time, and really enjoy Redondo Beach! We can easily convert the lounge into an extra bedroom if you'd like -- we have a quality queen air mattress! Street parking is a breeze but there is street cleaning on Thursday and Friday from 8-10am and the police will ticket. Also, we have a second unit under our main home which is currently occupied. We do require a cleaning fee of $120 for any stay. *Much to the chagrin of our animal loving offspring, my husband and I are very allergic to cats and slightly less allergic to dogs. We can not host or stay in homes with pets, unfortunately. We're a family of four who love travel, art, music, and theater. We will be on Sabbatical in Europe for the 2025/2026 school year.
