Retreat to your private lanai for relaxation. Message us for insider tips to start your escape. THE SPACE This home is the entire 2nd floor unit of a two-story villa with its own wrap-around deck. A single set of stairs takes you to your mountain-top tree-house where an open concept living space with high vaulted ceilings draws your eye to the spectacular ocean views beyond. You can watch a movie on the 65-inch TV, play board games, or curl up with a book in vintage bamboo barrel chairs in the stylish living room. Whip up fabulous meals in our well-appointed custom kitchen with Thermador appliances and gourmet Le Creuset and other cookware. Gather family and friends during meals while enjoying the stunning sunsets viewed through the great windows from the dining table. The master bedroom is a sanctuary featuring a king size luxury bed, an ensuite full bath, working desk, two large closets and a private balcony to enjoy stargazing or the sounds of song birds at sunrise. The queen bedroom features shoji doors and a beautiful Kent Coffey bed. The third bedroom has two twin beds with views of banana and mulberry trees in the garden. The second bathroom features a glass enclosed rain head shower, reminding guests of the beach nearby with a custom blue tiled shower and sand-like pebble floor. Each bedroom has a ceiling fan and USB outlets for charging devices. All bedrooms have jalousie glass paned windows with thick cordless privacy blinds that allow the mountain breezes to flow in. As you enter through the sculptural copper dolphin gate, you are welcomed onto the villa’s acre of lush jungle and garden with Hawaiian wildlife and jasmine, heliconia, avocado, mulberry, banana, papaya plants and more. The bottom floor unit is our home when we are not traveling. As world travelers, we have set up Nahale Hale with all the qualities we enjoy in wonderful homes and boutique hotels from our voyages. We hope to give you the right blend of escape into paradise with the comforts of a well-appointed home. Enjoy a warm-water rinse outdoors, enclosed by a graceful curved rock wall—perfect after sun and surf. This retreat is especially well-suited for visiting scholars, writers, filmmakers, or remote professionals and families seeking creative inspiration, privacy, and focus. Enjoy quiet mornings on the lanai with coffee, scenic hikes nearby, and a calming setting ideal for deep work or long-form creative projects. The well-appointed kitchen has a full set of appliances and cookware for six. Guest access: Gated driveway access with keypad and (provided) vehicle remote to a private parking spot for a single vehicle. Keyless entry on the 2nd floor. Your space on the full second floor is private, only accessible to you. Garden is shared with the owners on the first floor when they are in town. Other things to note: We kindly ask all guests to read and follow our (reasonable) house rules so that everyone—guests and hosts alike—can enjoy a peaceful and respectful stay. This is a quiet neighborhood: no parties, no animals of any kind (due to various regulations, allergies) and no smoking please. All guests must register with a contact staying for the entire stay (no agents may book on behalf of guests). Occupancy is 6 people maximum. Additional guests require approval and a fee. Check-in after 4pm; Checkout by 11am. Parking: one large or two small vehicles. Automatic gate remote provided. Please do not park in the grass, block driveways, or park on neighboring property. Comments: Perfect location for families but not baby or toddler-proof. Adults must supervise all minors at all times. All guest must register and agree to read/sign reasonable house rules. Four external (only) cameras, outdoor decibel meter and entry sensors.
