Stylish 2 + Bedroom house with parking near U of T and George Brown College

This cozy home is on a quiet street in one of the most popular neighbourhoods in Toronto. Steps away from the subway, the best coffee in town and some popular local restaurants. In minutes you can walk to a huge variety of restaurants and shops. George Brown College is a block away and U of T is less than 2 km. The house sleeps six in two bedrooms and a rec room. One of the bedrooms has a Murphy bed so you can turn it into an office if you wish. The basement can serve as a rec room or bedroom. You'll have three floors for your stay. The main floor is open - you can see the back deck from the front door. Our kitchen is modern with a gas stove and everything you'll need to create a great meal. If you feel like chilling in front of the TV, we have Netflix, Crave, Amazon and AppleTV so you'll have lots of choice. The second floor has the main bedroom with a walk-in closet. The bathroom was recently renovated and has a deep soaker tub and rain shower. And heated floors! The second bedroom doubles as a dedicated workspace if you lift up the Muphy bed. The second bedroom is tight but if you want some space, the whole basement can be a great bedroom. We have a pull-out couch with both a foam mattress and a comfy topper and high-quality sheets. There's a TV and XBOX and you'll have your own bathroom with a shower. We've lived in this house for 28 years, constantly caring for it and upgrading every aspect of it. This is our first time renting it for more than a month so we're looking for someone who we can trust to take care of it - and possibly our dog as well. If you're a pet lover with experience, we'd be willing to drop our monthly rent a bit in exchange for walking and feeding our friendly Aussie-Doodle.
