One of the four bedrooms offers an ideal second office setup with custom-built shelving and lovely east and south-facing views. The third floor bedroom with adjacent bathroom is perfect for guests. The welcoming entryway has a grand piano and opens to a south-facing sitting room with working fireplace. Large windows with wooden trim frame views of the tree-lined neighborhood. The large, updated kitchen has underfloor heating, and flows seamlessly into the dining space for easy entertaining. The extendable dining table comfortably seats 10 people. A convenient pantry connects to a utility room equipped with Bosch washer/dryer. There are two full bathrooms—one with a jacuzzi tub—plus a cute powder room on the main level. The house is in walking / cycling distance of East Rock Park, shops, cafes, Yale campus, downtown New Haven, museums, and neighborhood schools.
