House | Entire Home
Available Dates:
From June 1, 2026 until June 1, 2027

Description

The house is available from June 1st, or start time over the summer - rental duration and start date are flexible. The Waterfall House on Bowen Island is a 3 bedroom plus den house situated alongside a creek surrounded by forest. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the ferry which takes 17 minutes to reach Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver. It's a perfect place to come home to from a day in Vancouver to the South, or a day hiking in Whistler to the North. It also affords convenient access to local Island hikes, bike rides or a stroll into Snug Cove for a meal or shopping. Beaches and kayak rentals are also close by. Mt Gardner is the highest point on Bowen Island and the views from the 2385 ft peak are well worth the effort! Bowen Island has a rich music and arts community and there are all kinds of cultural events and farmers' markets to attend. There are also Municipal tennis and pickle ball courts. The house was custom built in the mid-90's and known as The Waterfall House because of it's location next to Bridal Veil waterfall that cascades alongside the salmon ladder on the creek. There are 2 decks - one off the master bedroom overlooking the creek and another larger deck at the main landing entrance to the house. There is a gas fireplace in the living room and forced air heating for the rest of the house. On the main floor there is an open plan hall, dining room and kitchen, living room with french doors opening onto the deck, full bathroom with the washer and dryer and a bedroom with a queen sized bed. Upstairs is the master ensuite bedroom with a queen sized bed, a deck (ideal for morning coffee) and a den/office both leading off the master bedroom. There is a second spacious bedroom with a queen sized bed and a twin bed. The bathrooms and deck areas are tiled with Mexican tiles. More photos at sailorvineyard.wine/bowen-island-accommodation
