It has nice views, one into a small square with a chapel, and the other, wide open over red rooftops. It's a 25 min. walk to the historic center and 35 min. to Ribeira. The Carolina Michaëlis metro station and secondary school are just a block and a half away. It’s surrounded by grocery stores, a pharmacy, bakery, fruit and vegetable minimarket, and a Continente Bom Dia supermarket (a 7 min. walk) as well as cafes, restaurants and laundromats. The nearest faculties of the University of Porto are Law, Literature and Architecture, as well as the Popular University of Porto. The rent includes: bed linen, towels, and necessary kitchen utensils for the daily life of 4 people. It also includes water, wi-fi, cable TV, bluetooth equipped stereo hi-fi, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine. For the autumn-winter season (October-March), the tenant is responsible for the cost of electricity and heating. If cleaning services are required, they can be provided by a worth trusting person at a decent fee. This cozy apartment is our home in Portugal, we rent it out when we are not there.
