We are a family of four (2 boys aged 5 and 8). We both teach comparative literature at university and are keen to pass on our interest in world languages and cultures to our children. All four of us love to travel. We are very respectful. We can exchange or rent our large and beautiful 19th century mansion in Poitiers, our pied-à-terre studio in Paris, our studio in the Alps (ideal spot for skiing or hiking) or our 3 bedroom seaside house (located 200 meters from a beautiful family beach, in a charming seaside resort in Normandy (Manche), 1 hour from Mont Saint Michel Bay). We are quite flexible on dates. Feel free to ask if you want some pictures of our properties. Only the Paris studio is visible in this ad. The Paris studio is on the ground floor and does not overlook the street. It is therefore very quiet in the heart of a very lively area (Latin quarter, very close to rue Mouffetard, Panthéon, rue d'Ulm / ENS, Jardin des plantes). The studio has a queen bed and a fold-out sofa that sleeps two. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. There is also a washing machine. A small kitchenette allows you to cook even if there are plenty of restaurants and bars in the area as well as excellent food shops. The studio is in a building in which the poet Paul Celan lived for a few years (he even wrote a poem whose title bears the address of the apartment!). Just in case, there is an inflatable mattress that can still be used as an additional bed. For a description and pics of our mansion in Poitiers (Nouvelle Aquitaine), please contact us directly. We also have a small apartment in the mountains, in the Alps, in the heart of the Vanoise national park and in a small village full of charm. This is the perfect place to ski or hike while eating local produce from the farm. We also own a vacation home in a great location on the Normandy coast (Manche department), just a few miles from the charming port of Granville. The house is 200 meters from a beautiful beach. The surrounding area between the sea and the countryside is magnificent. For home exchanges, we can easily imagine a mix between the large house with garden in the historic city center of Poitiers, the studio in Paris and the small apartment in the Alps or the seaside house. Many things can be imagined! A car swap is also a possibility. Do not hesitate to get in touch!

Comments: The studio is a pied-à-terre, dates are very flexible. I may use a key box for flexible check-in and check-out.
