Description

My wife and I are recently retired teachers, with a great love of literature, the outdoors and travelling. We have lived and worked abroad on a number of occasions, including in Malaysia, Kenya and France. I worked for many years in the French Lycée in London, though my most recent post was in secondary state education, whilst my wife has enjoyed many inspiring years in the Hospital Education sector. Our location in Oxford (2.5 miles from the centre), offers us easy access to all the cultural richness of the city, as well as the charming countryside of the Cotswolds. From Oxford Parkway train station (less than a mile away), London can be reached in little more than hour. With a beautiful cycle/ pedestrian path on our doorstep, running down the canal to the heart of the city, we rarely need to use our car. We will be available to help you settle in as needed and are happy to be as flexible as we can about furniture you’ll need during your stay. Please contact us if you need any further information.
