Charming and quiet house in the greenbelt of Berlin

The house is a light-flooded friendly place – quiet and easy to maintain. It is lokated in the greenbelt of West-Berlin the recreational value is very high. It is a mid-terrace house. You enter the house through a front garden and porch, a fitted kitchen looks into the frontgarden. The rest of the ground floor is a generous space opening to the tarrace and back garden. Open stairs are leading to the top floor which provides three cosy rooms. Perfect for studies and research. The house provides a library of classical german and english literature. Literature or philosophy students will make good use of the books. The house is built in 1959 and is mainly made of wood it is freshly renovated – we furnished it with scandinavian furniture and String-shelves and some classics from Dieter Rams so it has kept the charme of the 60ies. The estate belongs to an architectual heritage The river Havel and Groß-Glinicker See are great for outdoor activities. We provide two bycicles. There is a ferry boat from the Kladow-harbour commuting to Wannsee (the other side of the river) which also takes bycicles. This way you are at the Freie Universitä or Potsdam University in 50 minutes. Equidistant to the Technische Universität and fast buslanes connect you to the citycenter in 50 minutes. A car is not mandatory. A seven minute walk will bring you to the next grocery store. In 10 minutes you are in the village Kladow where you find shops and restaurants. If you seek for a time out, you don't need to travel at all, but if you do – the house is located between two cultural hotspots – Berlin and Potsdam, so you get to choose from a very fine selections of museums, theaters, cinemas, nightlife and bars .. we are happy to give you some tips.
