Gorgeous Sunny 1-Bed Home near Carleton U

We are a Brazilian couple who have been living in Ottawa, at Sue’s place, since October 2025. From our very first days, her lovely space was essential to our adaptation, making us feel truly at home. The house is excellent, comfortable, and in perfect condition. The location is great, set in a quiet residential neighborhood, perfect for walks and with easy access to public transportation. We especially highlight Sue’s kindness and attentiveness, always available to help, including by guiding us through the Canadian winter, which was new to us. Living here and meeting Sue has been very special. Lichen and Teddy made everything even more enjoyable—we loved caring for them. We are deeply grateful for the warm welcome! Muito obrigada, Sue!

Sue is a lovely person to communicate with and very accommodating and generous. The apartment was welcoming and clean, and it had everything I needed. The location is perfect, situated on a quiet, leafy street. I was very happy staying at her apartment.

I was so fortunate to have found Sue's listing for what was, as advertised, a truly gorgeous, sunny and welcoming home. I immediately felt that this home was an oasis of calm, one that is quiet and peaceful and very nicely furnished. As a person who loves to cook I found the kitchen to be intuitively designed which made working in it very enjoyable. There is ample room on the second floor to have both a nice sitting area and room to do yoga while bathed in natural light from the windows that is magnificent throughout the day.

Sue is a wonderful person and a very helpful and flexible host and I highly recommend her "oasis" as a wonderful place to reside.
