Description
We share a house at 1901 Anderson. Auden is a doc student in bioinformatics, Jules is a French-Canadian post-doc in psychology; Sini, my daughter, is a psychology major at Eastern Michigan University; I’m a researcher in education. A rather motley crew, we enjoy discussing ideas over an occasional late-night dinner, preferably with good wine and cheese. Someone comes to clean the house every other week and people keep it neat, especially the kitchen. Occasional overnight visitors welcome, with extra space to accommodate people as needed. No TV. The house is quiet and friendly. Visiting scholars welcome. Rent is $900, utilities included. Comments: I routinely share my house with doctoral students and visiting scholars, as well as my daughter (21). There are two bedrooms and a bath upstairs; two bedrooms and bath on the ground floor; and one bedroom in the basement. The rest of house is shared.
