Room in a charming house in Uccle, Brussels

We look forward to meet and host researchers, thinkers, musicians, artist. The house use to be full of paintings and design objects of my grand-parents. We made it empty to allow energy to flow again. "We" is me Ariane Loze and my uncle François Loze. We both live part-time in the house. We are looking for calm and enriching co-living experiences. Some inhabitants of the house are living there full-time, others part-time, we are open for discussion on the length of the stay. Sanaz and Sebastien just installed and live full-time in the house. As well as the 2 cats of Sanaz (who are very independent and spent most of their time in the garden). And the 2 boys of Sebastien who are there a few days a week. We rent 1 room on the second floor of the house on the garden side. One big room with a mezzanine. The kitchen and dining room are shared as well as the bathroom and toilet. The room can be basically furnished or empty. 800€ is including 700€ rent and 100€ charges including heating, water, electricity, internet and a cleaning of the common spaces The house is renovated in the respect for the 1900 style. The sink of my great-grand-mother is still in place. Nevertheless we have installed double glass in the old wooden windows. Old style and modern confort. We are finishing renovation now and a shower and toilet have been be installed in the basement. We are open for discussions on the length of the rental. For short time rental we can furnish basically the room with a bed and a desk. For longer term, it might be nice to choose the bed etc yourself.
