Walkable location, two room studio with private entrance

Description

Newly renovated two room suite in Porter Square Cambridge. Highly walkable location, 1 block from Raymond Park. Private entrance, laundry, bathroom, kitchenette (fridge/freezer, 18" dishwasher, induction cooktop, microwave/convection oven). Fully stocked with cookware, linens, coffeemaker, etc. Heat/heated floors for winter, AC for summer. Easy walk to Lesley, Harvard (<1 mile to law school, 1 mile to main campus), the MBTA red line, commuter rail and busses (0.4 mi). Near many shops and restaurants, yet on a quiet residential street. Note that this is an owner occupied building and we are in the unit above with our two children (8 & 10). We paid a lot of extra money ($10k) to put insulation between the floors, an extra layer of drywall + Green Glue (sound dampening) over the sleeping area, however you will still hear squeaking of floors when we walk around and our children when they're around. They are in school/after school during most working hours, but there is some noise transfer between the units when they/we are home. The kids usually wake up early (6/6:30 and we do our best to keep them quiet until 7:30 or later), are in school/after school all day until 5 or 6 most days and go to bed by around 8/8:30. We wanted to be transparent in case anyone is particularly sensitive to noise. There is no parking with the unit/rental, however it is a very walkable area for those who are mobile (easy to get to restaurants, public transportation, campus, groceries, etc). If you will have a car for a few days only (i.e you're renting one before a weekend getaway), you can borrow our resident visitor pass for up to three days at a time, we can work with you on that.
