This house is our family home. Our home is one of the oldest in the neighborhood. Built in 1899, our property is a Mills Act Historic property, a certified Wildlife Habitat, and we are on the trajectory of becoming a zero waste property. This means we compost all organic matter here on the property, irrigate all fruit trees with grey water, reuse and limit our landfill waste and capture and store rainwater to be used in our garden. We are happy to share our process if you're curious! There is a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and living room with tv and a hi-fi sound system. The master bedroom is off the dining room and has a Queen size memory foam (Keetsa) mattress. Its very bright and airy. The 2nd bedroom is setup for our son who is 7 and has a lofted twin bed with a desk underneath. The third bedroom we use as an office/guest room. It has a slightly smaller than twin size futon which is very comfortable for one person to sleep on, but also props up like a couch. There is a small desk for working in there as well. The living room is spacious and airy with lots of windows and a split unit ac. The music studio is optional, and is equipped for electronic or studio music production (mixing desk, speakers, etc.) There is also a large porch with a breakfast table and porch swing. Our house is situated on a 1/2 acre that is very wild and beautiful. There is a fire pit, hammock, trampoline, playhouse, pop-up 12' pool and a big veggie garden. Plenty of off street parking as well. Please note there is a small 1 bedroom in-law/back house which can be rented as well via Sabbatical homes. We also have cats and chickens that ideally are cared for by our guests. The cats live in the garage (they are like barn cats, very low maintenance) and the chickens live in the chicken coop in the very back of the yard. Both are super sweet and low maintenance.
