Brand new spacious 1 bd unit in the heart of Balmain

The apartment is perfectly located just 2 minutes from Darling St where you will find grocery stores as well as dozens of coffee shops, pubs, and restaurants. It's also well located for public transport - close to both bus stops and ferries. Despite the proximity to a busy street, the apartment is very quiet. The suburb - Balmain - is beautiful. A harbor-water swimming pool 5 minutes walk away, lots of parks, and walking distance to the harbor. The apartment itself is well-maintained, clean, and includes all the essentials. And David is wonderful - quick to respond to emails, he provided us with detailed information before we even arrived at our destination, and he is very generous and kind. We plan to return!

We had a fantastic experience staying in David's Balmain flat for 4 weeks. It truly became our home-away-from-home, and if we ever spend a lengthy period in Sydney again, we would be happy to return here! It is ideally located in lovely Balmain, close to shops, restaurants, several bus lines, and 2 ferry terminals. We made good use of all of those. The apartment itself is small but well laid out, with excellent provisions (extra bedding & towels, microwave, rice cooker, other cookware, clothes iron, etc), and the laundry is conveniently located next door.

We couldn't have asked for more of David as a host. He was communicative, friendly, and flexible. All of our transactions with him went smoothly, and we recommend his place unreservedly!

Balmain is an old suburb full of elegant, Victorian houses and charming walks. No matter which way you stroll, you end up at some lovely bay or waterfront. Everything is close at hand – supermarket, cafés, hairdressers, boutique shops. Buses go in all directions, and the city can be reached by ferry too. Spoilt for choice.

David had friends meet me and support me during my stay. He, himself, was readily available to respond to queries. A perfect base for anyone visiting Sydney, close to all the main hubs, and charming. Highly recommended.
