Charming condo under the eaves in Cambridge/Somerville, at Porter Square.

Looking for someone to rent my Cambridge/Somerville nest Fall 2025 semester, or a part thereof. A charming lived-in home that is available to visiting scholars, my place is super-convenient for anyone wanting to live in the area without a car. Restaurants, food shops, bookstore and movie theatre are all within walking distance, as is the Porter Square subway which will take you to Harvard, Tufts, MIT, or downtown Boston in less than half an hour. Harvard and its neighborhood are easily walkable in 20 minutes- it's just the right distance! The dwelling is an 820 sq foot top floor condo under the eaves with relatively small rooms in 3-unit 1920s building. Large-ish bedroom with small-ish living room, eat-in kitchen, and an office/ reading room (couch can serve as guest bed) . It is a third-floor walk-up and the laundry is shared, in the basement. I have lived here for a decade, and while not luxurious, it is very charming! Full of books, dvds, art —and it gets morning and evening light in the different rooms. Bonus is a shared front porch on the second floor, perfect for sunset drinks, and a shared backyard (shared with 2 other units in the building).
