Confidential apartment with terrace/garden in the heart of Paris

We had a marvelous bstay for a month in this flat. It's spacious and aairy and has a great terrace that sadly it was rather too cold and wet to use for much of our month. It is filled with the persona of its recently former owner, whose age has caused her to move to a place with more supports, andwhose children now manage it as a rental property for her benefit. The books and furnishings and art on the walls cry our with her taste and intelligence. They also reflect the fact that a fair amount of maintenance has been deferred. As a short term rental it is a bit under-amenitied, but we could fill in what we needed and for a month it was just grand. We will happily return should the possibility arise. And it is in the heart of the Vth.

The apartment was on the 1st floor(2nd floor in America) and had 2 bedrooms and bathrooms with dining room, living room and an outside private terrace. The Kitchen was well furnished and easy to use. Washer and drier worked well. There was a cleaning person who came every 2 weeks and did a fabulous job. A wonderful place to spend 6 weeks in Paris with family and friends spending time with us while we were there. My wife did not want to leave. The owner was very responsive to our every need. If we are lucky enough to spend this kind of time in Paris again, this is where we would stay. Close to two different Metro lines as well as an RER.

Very spacious well-appointed 2br/2ba apartment in perfect location in Latin Quarter. 5 min walk to Rue Mouffetard and Place de la Contrescarpe with many cafes, shops, and food stores; 10 min walk to 2 subway lines. Fully equipped kitchen, large living area, comfortable beds & storage space. Thank you to our gracious hosts - we will be back.
