This stunning 1200 sq ft apartment offers a rare oasis in Manhattan. It has breathtaking, unobstructed views of Morningside Park from your southeast-facing windows, flooded with natural light. It is a very peaceful apartment/location thanks to the unusually quiet (for Manhattan) Morningside Dr. A dedicated home office boasts a large desk and a big monitor, which we can leave if needed. This bedroom/office is flexible and can easily accommodate a full or queen bed without sacrificing functionality. The master bedroom has park-facing views, a king-size bed, a big in-suite bathroom, and dual walk-in closets. As you will see in the photos, we have our baby's crib and a changing station in the bedroom. We can move the crib and changing station or leave them if needed.  The expansive living room seamlessly flows into the dining area and a modern open kitchen. If you like to cook or just like nice kitchens, there's a massive counter space and modern appliances, including an induction oven. A second full bathroom is located in the hallway. The unit has a washer and dryer behind a closed door and is very quiet.  There is a 24-hour doorman and impeccable maintenance. The beautiful common space features Wi-Fi, TVs, dining areas, and a separate, large room with a pool table.  The building has a spacious, well-equipped gym with a yoga/dance studio. The building has an elevator and the apartment is on the 4th floor. The building really is an architectural marvel! It was converted into an apartment/residential building several years ago; it was originally an outpatient children's hospital, which is why the noise doesn't travel between units, and it has massively high ceilings. This is an amazing location in the heart of Columbia University. The apartment/building/ neighborhood is safe, as Colombia's public safety patrols it.  Morningside Park is literally across the street, with Central Park and Riverside Park just three blocks away. The Cathedral of St. John the Divine has serene public gardens is on the south side of the building.  Multiple subway lines (1 train at 110th or 116th St, B/C trains at 110th St & CP/Cathedral Parkway) provide easy access throughout the city. ---We are going on a sabbatical and are looking to sublet the apartment for the entirety of our stay, but we can be flexible with the dates. This is our home, and it's impeccably clean. We are going on a sabbatical and would prefer someone stays in our home during this time. No pets, sorry!
