Historic 3 bdrm, 2 bath townhouse in fantastic central location

Very comfortable - king bed on the top floor with eaves, queen bed and queen bunk beds in separate rooms on the middle floor. Also bathroom with very good shower over the bath.

Useful to have a separate toilet on the ground floor.

A minute's walk to the lake (go right to head alongside the lake to the pier etc).

Go left and all the downtown amenities are walkable:

Sens Cafe (great coffee) 4 mins.

Princess Street with cafes, restaurants, shops 10 mins.

Food Basics or Metro around 15 minutes.

Artillery Park gym and swimming pool just a few minutes further.

And last but not least - Lindsay is an excellent host.

My family and I just checked in at Roseclare House last week for a full-year sabbatical. The house is perfect. It is well stocked, beautifully decorated, and a very comfortable family home. The location couldn't be better -- main shopping street within walking distance, good schools, close to the university, and the lake right at your doorstep! Ben and Lindsay (and their kids!) have been so welcoming and responsive at every stage. What a find! If you are planning a research stay in Kingston I strongly recommend this house.

Edit: Now following up after our months-long stay at Roseclare House to say what a wonderful experience we had. The house was fantastic, the location incredible, and the hosts responsive and welcoming!
