I am an Associate Professor of French at Loyola University Chicago and I often leave for 1-3 months. I have bought this 1-bedroom recently and everything in it works perfectly and I have decorated it to be welcoming and comfortable. I am sure you will enjoy the gorgeous front yard, the little porch and the closeness to the lake (with tennis courts, a basketball court, plenty of space to jog, bike, walk, and, of course, swim!). The apartment has all the necessary amenities (washer/drier; a very comfortable bed, a cozy living area, a kitchen ready for all your cooking and baking adventures, and a second little room which can be used as an office, a dining room, or a second bedroom, with its murphy bed and modulable table).
