Our 3 bed, 1bath single-story home is modern, beautifully furnished, quiet, and relaxing. The house was built in the 1950's but has many modern renovations to the kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, etc. Our favorite features include great natural light (solar tubes & large windows), hardware floors throughout, and period furniture. We love our home and hope you will too! We are an academic couple at UW travelling between approx August 28--October 28 2026. We can be a bit flexible with dates but are looking for the house to be occupied most of the time. Our ideal tenant is an academic or academic couple but we are open to an arrangement with a family. Our house is fully furnished, and our setup includes an office with sit-stand desk, high speed internet, bathroom with small tub, living room with a comfy couch and projector for movies, laundry with washer & dryer, and a home gym including squat rack. We also have an outdoor deck + outdoor furniture. We really love cooking so our kitchen has all the necessities to cook great meals at home. We would like you to take care of our beloved little cat. She is healthy, low-maintainence, indoor/outdoor. Needs food 2x/day + cuddles. Please tell us about your experience with cats in your application. You'll have access to an off-street parking spot. We have a car and are open to discussing a car rental agreement, too. We are conveniently located in the quiet Wedgwood neighborhood of Seattle. We’re a short walk from grocery stores, coffee shops, and a couple small pubs. At the end of the street (2 minute walk) is the #65 bus that runs every 15 minutes to UW and the UW light rail station (connecting to downtown).
