This is a quiet neighborhood ideal for academics, professionals, retirees, etc. 2 or 3 bedrooms (one Queen, one Cal King, one adjustable for guests), 1 or 2 offices (3rd bedroom doubles as office), and 1 unfurnished bedroom used for storage, ironing, etc. Large living room with new high-efficiency wood stove insert, welcoming dining room, and well-appointed kitchen with gas range. 1 full bath with tub & shower upstairs, one half bath downstairs. Laundry in walkout basement, along with storage & workout space. Automatic garage door; Level 2 EV charger in garage (usage negotiable). Raised beds for a vegetable garden in back yard. Great access to Amherst, UMass and Amherst College by foot/bike. Abuts the Norwottuck Rail Trail. Very quiet neighbors (all Amherst College owned properties). 1 garage spot and parking for 2 cars in the driveway. Plentiful street parking. Tenant pays for internet and gas ($30-50 typical gas bill covers: kitchen range and hot water heater; backup heating system, only if used on very coldest days). Tenant also pays for electric usage above solar panel generation (typically in December-March). April-November solar typically outproduces usage (i.e. no electric bill). Main heating and cooling are provided by high-efficiency air-source heat pumps (mini-splits). Tenant arranges snow removal if desired (Amherst College clears the sidewalk in front of the house, so snow removal is just walkway/driveway and depends on the winter).
