We are looking for one or two people or a couple with a child to sublet our sunny, Harlem apartment from late June to late-August (the dates are flexible). The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an in-unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, private terrace, several closets, south and west exposures and nice views to the Midtown skyline. Access to the large rooftop patio of the building is on the same floor as the apartment. The building also has a large courtyard, a common area with kitchen, TV and billiards, a kids playroom, and a gym. The rent is significantly lower compared to other rentals in the area. The apartment is on the corner of West 127th Street and St. Nicolas Avenue (New York, 10027). There is a subway entrance to the 125th Street stop directly in front of the building so you can access express and local lines (A, B, C and D trains) and be in Midtown in less than 10 minutes--I make it to Penn Station in less than 15 on the A train. There are multiple parks around the building, and lots of restaurants, grocery stores, and cafes. The main campus of Columbia University is a 15-minute walk away. Aside from keeping the place clean and quiet, whoever stays here should also have a slightly green thumb to keep plants alive and healthy while we're gone. It's easy with the sunlight we get.
