Typical and charming parisian apartement

The apartment is large and well equipped for Paris, I comfortably hosted a guest. A short walk up, quiet. The vibe is classic french academic, full of books and music and art. The parts that are better modern are modern, like the dishwasher, washing machine, and heat. The parts that are better classic are classic, like the creaking wood floors and balcony.

The location is fantastic, multiple nearby metro lines, bike rentals, Mouffetard a five minute walk, the river ten, and everything you need right around the corner: Le Met wine bar, restaurants, groceries.

The host was clear, available and responsive. I don't want to highly recommend so I can stay here again, but I have to! Enjoy.

Lack of information on arrival, waiting in street with no code for street door and out-of-date telephone number.

No directions for operating kitchen appliances or instructions for housekeeping or building services.

Apartment has an awkward and uncomfortable layout. Not like the photos on the website.

During a spell of cold and damp weather, the landlord removed all the controls for the heating units. So we had no heat.

WiFi was spotty and erratic.

We paid extra for the housekeeper. She cleaned the apartment but did not do the laundry and took the towels and linens to be done offsite.

Joelle made it super-easy to slip in for a late-notice trip to Paris, and her apartment was great. It made me smile as soon as I entered it. I only wish I were a piano player to enjoy the grand piano in the middle of the main room!

This apartment was like landing in heaven - spacious, comfortable, and a cultural mecca.

French surrealism in an eclectic mix which included a grand piano, a violincello (not that

I could play either!) and an eclectic intercultural mix of interior design. Perfect espresso machine

with milk frother, kitchen equipment, dishwasher, balcony, and the perfect Parisian location not far from the Pantheon and Rue Mouffetard; and a short walk to Jardin du Luxembourg. It could sleep three to four, but we were just two so had loads of space. I highly recommend Joelle's lovely apartment for an authentic Parisian sojourn in an excellent area and set-up.

We enjoyed our week in this Paris apartment which was bigger and more modern than we anticipated from the pictures. (It has a totally renovated kitchen and bathroom.) The apartment is well located near several subway stations - we used Les Gobelins-, has a grocery store on the corner, good internet, and is extremely quiet. Recommend highly!
