Bright, airy, large 2 bedroom apartment

We had a wonderful stay. Jennifer's apartment is spacious and well-appointed, with a beautiful view. The transportation is very convenient. Jennifer is the perfect host: kind and easy to communicate with, very experienced. Highly recommend!

I stayed at this property for about 3 weeks in the late summer of 2025. The information on the website is completely accurate, but it's often the case that the pictures don't capture what the lived experience of the space actually is. That's the case here- the property is so much better upon arrival. This is not a staged apartment. It's a building and a propertry where people live, and have lived, for years. The galley kitchen is well thought out, the bathroom is efficient and elegant-no small trick. The windows have classic NYC views. It's an apartment that makes you want to take care of it,because it has obviously been cared for.

All communication was prompt and emminently reasonable.

I'll stay there again in a heartbeat.

As a returner to NYC after 25 years, I was keen to find a comfortable place in Manhattan to set in before moving to a new rental apartment. I could not have found a better place and a better host than Jennifer. She was quick at answering my queries and at deciding to rent out her place to me. Communication was extremely easy and pleasant. The apartment was absolutely clean, nicely decorated and perfectly organized. This is a family home with lots of character and a beautiful morning sun bathing the whole apartment and a fatastic view on Brooklyn. Bus stops are at doorstep and food stores - such as Trader's Joe - at walking distance. I could not find a better place for my new start in the city. Thank you so much!

What a wonderful apartment! Comfortable bed, great shower, beautiful views of the East River, everything we needed in the kitchen, and a handy laundry room in the well-maintained and friendly building, Our host responded quickly to all our messages, making communication back and forth a breeze. We have visited NYC many times but had never before stayed in the Lower East Side. We thoroughly enjoyed this historic neighborhood and once we quickly conquered the very conveniently located local bus and subway lines and schedules, we moved about the City easily. It was a such pleasure to stay here and to meet the delightful woman who made her home available to us. We can't recommend this apartment highly enough and hope to return in the future.

We thoroughly enoyed our stay in Jennifer's spacious, quiet home. The apartment is very comfortable and homely, has great views (and air conditioning!) and conveniently located close to reliable bus services and shops. There is plenty of space to work and fast internet. Jennifer was very friendly and helpful and we are very grateful to her for sharing her home with us.

Jennifer's apartment is beautiful, spacious, clean & has everything & more that you would need on a stay in NYC. Multiple buses are out the front of the building. Incredible views from the living room & main bedroom. Comfortable sofa, beds and furniture. Access to laundry facilities. Safe & very quiet if you're researching & writing.

That's just the apartment! Jennifer is one of the kindest people I've met. She's only a message away if you have any issues at all. She sincerely wants you to enjoy your stay & simply look after the apartment as though it is your own. Our host was easy to work with and well organised with information about the unit and the neighbourhood.

The unit is on a high floor with great views from the living/dining area, bedrooms and kitchen. It is spacious and comfortable with plenty of storage. The kitchen has everything one would need for cooking and has space for two people eating or working.

The unit is near a grocery store and 24-hr deli, and an easy walk to Manny Cantor community center which has a very nice gym with new equipment. There is convenient bus and ferry service just outside the building.
