A cozy three bedroom home in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood in Montreal that’s a 10 minute walk to the Loyola campus of Concordia University and the shuttle bus to the downtown campus. We are a short walk from the train that is a 10-minute ride to downtown or a five minute ride to the Vendome Metro and the MUHC. Two bedrooms have queen-size beds and the third has a double bed. There is one bathroom on the same floor as the bedrooms and a second one in the basement next to the Finnish sauna. The attic is a big open space that we use as a yoga studio. We have a small driveway for one car or two in a pinch. Two blocks from our home is a small, quaint ´main’ street with several shops and restaurants. A brand new community centre with a skating/hockey rink, outdoor swimming pool and multi purpose gym just opened 3 blocks away with numerous programs and classes. The houses in the neighbourhood are mainly single-family dwellings or semi-detached homes. Ours is the latter. The house is heated with natural gas and we have a gas stove and hot water heater as well as a gas fireplace. We are equipped with several smoke detectors and there is a fire station two blocks away that acts as first responders in any medical emergency. The neighbours are very friendly and will only be too happy to help with any questions you might have as will our handyman two blocks away.

Comments: A charming neighbourhood with century old homes and lots of mature trees. Close proximity to buses, trains and metros. Only a 10 minute train ride from downtown and yet the neighbourhood is extremely peaceful with warm, friendly people. Many services such as a small grocery store, two bakeries, cafés and restaurants as well as a walk-in clinic, two pharmacies, physiotherapists, naturopaths, etc.only a few minutes from the house.
