Downstairs are three reception rooms; a 'snug' with TV, a sitting room with inglenook fireplace and a study with piano, desk and plenty of books. The kitchen is well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher and large oven and hob and a table seating 10 comfortably, 12 at a push! The middle of three old Mill Cottages, the back garden is very secure for children or pets, and there is an apple tree and herb & vegetable patch. The village has a station on the main railway line to Cambridge or London. Trains half hourly from Waterbeach station to Cambridge (10 minutes) or London Kings Cross (60 minutes). There is also a scenic cycle pathway along the river Cam to Cambridge and beautiful walks over the atmospheric fens. There is an excellent primary school in the village. There is fast broadband connection. This is our family home, and is definitely 'lived in' but is full of character and has hosted many a happy occasion over the years. We would like to find tenants who will love it as we have done, as we move on to new adventures.
