Welcome to our charming A-frame retreat nestled on ½ acre enchanted wooded property! This cozy 1970-built hideaway is ideally located in Chapel Hill, just 7 minutes from UNC. Within 30 minutes you’ll find downtown Durham, Cary and Apex, with Raleigh approximately 40 minutes away. Our property is the perfect choice for traveling or medical professionals working at the universities, graduate students, or individuals in need of temporary accommodation while their home is under construction. We require a minimum 30-day stay. On the first level is a living room, kitchen, and dining area in an open setting. On this floor you'll find a den / 2nd bedroom / office with a futon/bed, desk and closet, and the full bathroom in the hall. Out back is another deck overlooking a small yard, shed, and fire pit! Back inside, you'll find a steep open staircase that goes up to the open loft. The loft takes up the length of the home, so there is quite a bit of space for this primary bedroom. You'll find a queen bed, desk, dresser, along with a closet. Furnished in a mix of mid-century, vintage, and a bit of industrial thrown in, you'll find unique pieces throughout the A-frame. Within walking distance is Southern Village, where you will find Weaver Street Food Co-op, The Lumina movie theatre, numerous restaurants, a wine bar and a gym. There is also a large park including a vast dog park. Here you will find the park-n-ride to UNC and a regular bus route. We are about 10 minutes from Jordan Lake, where you can kayak, paddleboard, canoe, rent a pontoon boat, jetski, fish and swim! It's a wonderful natural amenity just up the road.
