This peaceful, private studio is on its own level with its own entrance. It has a private full bath and mini-kitchen in an adjacent, shared laundry room. Its windows look through trees onto a quiet street easy walking distance to public transportation, a local market, pub, bakery, and Sunday farmers' market. The studio is ideal for a mature student or professional who doesn't have too many possessions and enjoys a friendly, zen-like atmosphere. Furnishings negotiable. Studio can accommodate a twin or full-sized bed but not a queen-sized bed. Access is up stairs. No smoking or drug use. There is ample street parking. My home is located in a friendly neighborhood on a peaceful, tree-lined street one block from AC Transit for easy access to UC Berkeley, BART or San Francisco; two/ three blocks from a neighborhood grocery store/ cafe/ pub/ pizzeria/ cleaners /florist etc.; a half-mile from Solano Ave. shops; and about a mile (10-15 min. walk) to BART. There are beautiful stairway walks up through the hills nearby. I, the homewowner, am a 68 year-old woman, a psychologist and tai chi instructor. I love hiking, backpacking, gardening, and walking my labrador retriever. I respect privacy and enjoy friendly conversation, and hope you will too.
