Home away from home guest room available October 15. Usually one month minimum rental, $1575 for one person, but this month it's possible to book October 15-31 for $780. Most of our guests stay for 1 to 3 months and we're not seeking a long-term guest. Comfy, sunny, fully furnished, all linens provided, full use of house and garden. Very close (one block) to North Berkeley BART and busses; close to shops and restaurants; approx 1.6 miles to Cal Berkeley and downtown. Well-suited to visiting scholars, people in transition, traveling workers, or anyone seeking a comfortable shorter-term stay in Berkeley. Rent includes all utilities, professional cleaning, fast internet, and household supplies. Casual atmosphere, two congenial residents ages 40 and 77, one sweet cat, sometimes one other guest, large landscaped garden. Please drop a note if you're interested and tell us about yourself! There is a $150 refundable security deposit, and a $50 one-time cleaning fee. A rent deposit will be due on booking.
