Spacious well-located 1-bed apartment in Clerkenwell/Angel, Central London

I stayed a month in this lovely flat while on a research fellowship, and found it supremely comfortable—a true home away from home. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was easy to cook in, and the clothes washer was wonderful to have. The location could hardly be better. The neighborhood is inside the central congestion zone, which means it's ultra quiet. It's right on a main London cycleway and is walking distance to a multiple tube lines and trains. It was an easy walk or cycle to the British Library, where I was working. With the canal nearby, plentiful parks, and leafy trees all around, the neighborhood is wonderful for walking. The hosts were responsive, helpful and kind the whole time I was there. I would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I enjoyed our nearly 3 month stay in the Angel flat. It is centrally located with easy transportation access to all parts of London. The plethora of food markets within 5-10 min walking distance made grocery shopping a breeze. Many restaurants are within reach in several directions and a lively lane in Exmouth is great for socializing. Cute parks and gardens and the regent's canal are nearby for a quick stroll in nature. The flat is quiet and has everything one may need with a modern kitchen and bathroom, comfortable bed, a cosy living room, and a beautiful front porch. The hosts are wonderful and communicative. Overall we aboslutely loved our stay here and would stay here again on a future visit. Highly recommended!

This is a wonderful flat close to the Angel tube station. I was in London to teach an 8-week summer course and the flat was exactly as advertised with nice neighbors in a safe area. The owners were responsive and reached out to see if I had suggestions at the end of my 8-week stay. Groceries, bakery, bookstore, etc. were an easy walk and when I had some free time, the tube and / or bus were convenient to access the usual London tourist activities. I hope to return in two years, when the course will be taught again.

Angel was a cozy and charming flat with a modern kitchen and bath in a quiet neighborhood. The location was ideal as it was minutes from bus stops and tube stations that provided quick access to all parts of London. The proximity to grocery stores and restaurants across a variety of price points was also a defintite plus. Upper Street and Exmouth Market were particular favorites. The owners of the property quickly responded to any questions and the printed guide provided addressed the necessary information about the flat and the neighborhood. Future renters would be well pleased with Angel!

I stayed at this flat for 6 weeks and it was exactly what I was looking for. The space was comfortable and well put together. It had everything that I needed to make it feel like a temporary home. The location was absolutely amazing and allowed me to get around London in a very efficient manner. The hosts were extremely friendly and were very easy to communicate with. I was sad to leave at the end of my stay because I wanted to be there longer! I would definitely rent this flat again and recommend it to anyone!
