Rent this 1298Sqft house while I'm away teaching! I teach at the University of Bologna and would love to have someone rent my house. My little brick house is cozy, with two nice-sized bedrooms- both with queen beds. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the second floor. The house has hardwoods throughout, except for the stairs, which are carpeted. The main floor is fairly open, with a living room, dining room, and kitchen. The living room has a couch, chairs, tv with Roku access, a desk that I will have cleaned off, and a piano that will be tuned in April. The dining table seats at least 6. The kitchen has an island work space, dishwasher, gas oven and range, and a Ninja air fryer/pressure cooker mix. The kitchen has everything you could need if you like to cook, as well as if you're a coffee lover. There is a kettle, french press, Nespresso, and more. There is a full, unfinished basement with a deep freezer, washer, and dryer. My car- a 2017 Honda Fit -will be in the garage, and may be available upon negotiation. This will leave the driveway open for another car, if you have your own, and there is street parking. The back yard is small, but there is no patio out back. The front porch, though, has comfy seating and is particularly wonderful in the morning as the house is south facing. The house has central air but also can stay very cool if you keep it shut up during the day. The wifi is fast and reliable. I work from home while in Pittsburgh, taking calls daily, and rarely have any issues. Beechview is a nice neighborhood, within the city minutes with a bit more of a suburban feel. The house is right on the trolley line, just 20 minutes to downtown, or 30 to South Hills Village Mall. It's an easy walk to Dormont/Potomac Avenue (15 minutes) with coffee shops and restaurants, and 45 minutes walking/7-8 minutes driving/10-15 on the T to Mount Lebanon neighborhood. Beechview itself has some great casual restaurants - Chicken Latino being my favorite - and a grocer just a 7 minute walk from the house. Happy to answer any other questions!
