Islington, lovely en-suite double room 5 mins from tube

I had the most enjoyable stay with Imogen for 2.5 weeks during a work trip. Imogen was so communicative from when I first reached out to helping me find my way to her place, she made everything feel seamless. During the course of the stay, she made me feel completely at home.

Imogen's home is just gorgeous, so comfortable, so clean, and had everything I needed. A super comfortable bed and being able to have your own en-suite were the cherries on top. The location couldn’t have been better for getting around London, being just around the corner from the tube but also being in Islington where you can wander through the lovely streets and shops.

The 2.5 weeks went by so quickly, I left wishing I was able to spend more time there :)

I had a lovely stay at Imogen's in Islington last week. Imogen was the perfect host and roommate. She was very respectful, responsive, helpful, and lovely to chat to. I immediately felt at ease as if I lived in the flat. The flat itself was beautiful, comfortable, and had great amenities. The room was very homey and quiet, with a nice en suite bathroom. The neighborhood was safe and centrally located, with everything one could need a short distance away (tube station, grocery stores, restaurants, parks, cafes). I will definitely stay with Imogen again the next time I'm in London!

I stayed with Imogen for three months this autumn, and it was overall a lovely experience. Her home is comfortable and warm, and in a fantastic location. Particularly great is the study space that guests can use when Imogen is not working in it.

Imogen responds to messages quickly and is always careful to specify when she needs the common space in advance. She is a thoughtful and pleasant housemate. When I got sick while staying at her place, she kindly offered to pick up medication and any other things I needed.

Most of all, Imogen is friendly, kind, warm, and funny. After three months of living with her, I am glad to call her my newest friend in London!

I spent a wonderful three weeks in January/February 2025 with Imogen in her sunlit flat. She greeted me upon my arrival in the evening and immediately made me feel at home, including with a very extensive list of neighborhood restaurant, cafe, grocery store, and park recommendations (and they are plentiful around Islington/Highbury/Angel!). It is a bright, clean, and private room with a very comfortable bed and an en suite bathroom.

Imogen was an excellent and generous host—kind, considerate and lowkey, very communicative and helpful, and a pleasure to chat with! The flat also has amazing tube access to the British Library and the National Archives.

I stayed in Imogen's flat for about four weeks in July-Aug 2025 and it was a great, stress-free experience from start to finish! Imogen was out of town unexpectedly at the time of my arrival, so she sent very detailed videos about how to enter the gated courtyard and access the key. She was extremely communicative throughout about every last detail including when the cleaning service would be in the space (very nice perk for a longer stay!) The room and private bath are cozy and quiet, and there are nice food options in the neighborhood. Best part for me was proximity to a train station with both overground and underground service; it also felt very safe coming and going late at night. Gracious host and lovely spot -- I hope to come back!

I stayed with Imogen doe 8 nights in Feb 2024. All in all, the location - in Islington - is ideal. Interesting shops, lots of choice re: restaurants and cafes, close to metro and about a 1 hour walk from the British Museum. The bedroom/ensuite was clean and private. You are sharing Imogen's space but that's not a problem. She showed me where everything was located and how things worked, and then left me alone. We had interesting conversations when our paths crossed, and were respectful of each others' space. Imogen made helpful suggestions in terms of getting around, what to see, where to eat, etc. Communication prior to my arrival was also good. All in all, a good find.

I had a GREAT stay with Imogen in Islington (many I's!) this past summer. The room was very comfortable, secure, and cozy, and Imogen is a friendly host who also is very good at giving her guests their own space and privacy and being sure they have everything they need - to use another "I" word, she is not "intrusive!" She welcomed me warmly while also making me feel supported in my research project and at home in the neighborhood. The location was excellent, very close to good grocery stores and to the Highbury and Islington tube, from which you can get Overground and Underground lines; the Angel tube station is a 10-15-minute walk down the Islington high street, which is full of very nice shops and restaurants. I give her an A++ rating!

I stayed at Imogen's flat earlier this year and it was a brilliant experience. Imogen is warm, friendly, and hospitable, and she made sure that I was comfortable in the flat and had everything that I needed. We had wonderful chats but also plenty of respect for each other's privacy. The flat was clean and tidy, the bed was very comfy and it was great having an ensuite to myself. The flat is in a wonderful location. I couldn't have hoped for a better situation to land into after arriving from a long flight.

The host was friendly and helpful at first but cancelled our confirmed match a few weeks later, citing a ‘family issue.’ She did promptly refund my deposit, but the sudden change left me feeling uncertain about the reliability of listings on the site.

Imogen's flat is lovely. It is very convenient to the British Library, Senate House, and The National Archives, as well as the rest of London. It is close to the tube, shops, green spaces, and restaurants.

Imogen herself is friendly, helpful, and a lovely hostess. She keeps regular and quiet habits, is comfortably chatty and quiet - a pleasure to return to at the end of a long day. She is comfortably fastidious.

The flat itself is lovely and full of light. The bedroom/bathroom are warm and delightful. It is one of the most comfortable beds I've ever encountered. The shared kitchen and living room are cozy and offer everything you need!

I have nothing but praise for Imogen. She was extremely welcoming, helpful, kind, generous and very easy to be around. I really enjoyed my time in her flat. The room itself has its own bathroom, which is a luxury, as well as comfortable bedding. It is also very quiet and the flat situated in a safe, great neighbourhood. Highly recommended in every way!

I had an amazing few weeks staying with Imogen at her beautiful home in Islington. The space is perfectly situated with a 3-minute walk to the tube station that has amazing access into central. The home itself is even more beautiful in person. I can't recommend it enough.

Imogen is a wonderful person, her flat cannot be better. Everything as in the pictures, extremely clean, cozy, comfortable, smartly decorated. And of course, very well located. Nice area full of restaurants and small stores, typical of London. Imogen is very kind and makes us feel as at home. I wish to stay longer!!!
