Looking for tranquil beauty and outdoor fun in Vermont

I am a retired Associate Laboratory Professor at Middlebury College. I am looking for responsible tenants to live in our furnished home during the summer (June-August) 2026. The house is passive solar design, beautiful oak floors and incredible natural light. It has heat pump AC. The house is set on 30 acres of land (mostly field and woods) with easy walking access to hiking. The location is perfect for access to the quaint town of Middlebury and the more lively city of Burlington- either is only 30 minutes drive on excellent roads. Lake Champlain is a 20 minute drive and there are excellent swimming holes even closer. There are three bedrooms (each with a queen sized bed) and a bathroom on the second floor. The first floor has an office (with a standing desk and a reading chair), living room with a TV, kitchen/dining areas and bathroom with laundry. The back deck includes table, chairs and propane grill. You can enjoy Adirondack chairs and a spectacular view down our valley, stunning sunrises and evening rainbows! We have dsl internet access. There are great restaurants just a 15 minute drive away and excellent access to high quality groceries if you prefer to cook.
