Zealandia bird sanctuary is nearby so we have visits from native birds - Tui, Fantail, Kereru, Wood pigeons etc. Lovely nature hikes on our doorstep, including up to Wright's Hill which has stunning Wellington views. Large flat backyard and landscaped gardens makes the section a kids’ paradise with a trampoline, sandpit, playhouse, and areas to explore. It's rare to find a large, sunny, flat section in Wellington! Fully insulated, brand new Mitsubishi heat pumps, Contessa fireplace with sophisticated heat transfer system to share the heat upstairs, and double glazed windows. A couple of minutes’ walk from Ben Burn park which is a community hub for sports and events throughout the year. Short walking distance to Samuel Marsden Collegiate school (private girls' primary/high school), Karori Normal school (co-ed public primary), cafes, library, pool, supermarkets, and the numerous other amenities Karori has on offer. Zoned for Wellington Girls' College and Wellington College. Close to bus stops, several routes which head to Victoria University and CBD every 10mins.
