Welcome to Tzupedo Beach Escape! We are delighted to share our little slice of heaven with you and hope that you will enjoy spending time here as much as we do. When we moved into the property as a family of three in 2016, we found that we rarely used the self-contained lower level. Hence, Tzupedo was born as a tribute to our beautiful Shih Tzu twins Elle and Chevy and their love of travel. As an academic family, we understand firsthand the challenges of sabbatical travel and have created a cosy oasis for travelling academics to enjoy while keeping up with work. Tzupedo is an ideal study retreat for one in the quiet beachside suburb of Collaroy, within easy reach of the CBD and many Sydney and NSW universities. The unit has its own entrance and is completely private from the main house, enjoying all-day northern sun and ocean views. It features its own covered private patio, complete with BBQ grill and outdoor dining setting. There is also a 10-metre saltwater swimming pool and cosy fire pit on the property (shared with owners, but with dedicated times for guests' private use). The property is located in a quiet suburban street with local traffic only. It's a mere 5-minute walk to beaches, cafes, parks, golf course, and express bus line, which connects to ferry, rail, and metro services, as well as several shopping centres. The spacious main bedroom features floor to ceiling closets and a king-sized bed with quality Sealy mattress and 1000 thread-count bed linens. Plentiful Egyptian cotton towels and bathrobe are also included. The open plan kitchen/living room features an oversized leather sofa, ottoman, and dining setting for four, plus a mini-oven, stovetop, microwave, and full-size fridge. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, coffee machine, small appliances, gadgets, and storage containers. There is also a front-loader washing machine, airing rack, iron, and ironing board. A shared dryer is available upon request. The study overlooks the garden/patio and ocean beyond and is complete with desk and chair, day bed, and floor to ceiling closets.
