Serene 2BR Parisian Nest, Ideal for Writers

This was a great two bedroom place in the 11th arrondissement. Very clean and newly renovated with great places to work remotely. Cool area with lots of fun little cafes and restaurants.

My wife and I stayed in Jill's apartment during our 9 month stay in Paris, and it served us very well. We appreciated the standard of cleanliness of the apartment, and all the new appliances and recent renovations. It has all the old style charm of a Parisian apartment, with all the modern conveniences of a washer/dryer, tile shower, towel warmer, electric stove, etc. A big highlight of this apartment is that it has two office spaces, which was ideal for us who work from home. We also really enjoyed the neighborhood of the 11eme arr., which is a very familial area with many outdoor parks for children -- and a perfect area for foodies, with many beatiful markets, delicious restaurants, and numerous street food spots!

This apartment is sparkling clean, full of sunlight, simply and tastefully decorated, and a wonderful base for visiting or working in Paris. The location is superb! Away from tourists, the area has an infectious neighbourhood feel, busy with young Parisian families going about their lives. Upscale restaurants and cafes, unique little shops, a famous patisserie and chocolaterie are only a few minutes away on the rue Chanzy and they too, while topnotch, have the warmth of your local favourite hideaway. The owner was extremely helpful and gracious throughout the rental process and accomodated our rushed rental with charm and ease. We highly recommend this flat for one or two persons seeking a calm retreat in the city of light.

Highly recommended. Stayed here 7 happy months. Newly renovated, w/well-appointed kitchen & bath; brand new comfortable bed. (Cooked at home often during the pandemic; kitchen great for daily use.) Thoughtful layout; apt feels larger than square footage might suggest, w/2 built-in workspaces ideal for academic couple. Amazing neighborhood, convenient to transport, easy walk to several weekly markets & other amenities, e.g. Pere Lachaise; many charming small parks and squares very close by. Owner is kind and attentive, genuinely interested in tenants’ comfort; building gardienne & apartment manager/cleaner warm & friendly. Would certainly stay here again! (And would start my housing search in this neighborhood if this flat were unavailable.)
