Description
We are Berkeley residents for many decades and raised our family here. We are a retired pastor and a public school music teacher with deep and long connections in the local community. We love to travel and are eager to help visitors enjoy Berkeley, the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California. We designed this smaller home behind our main house for our own eventual retirement and have appointed it to a high specification. With our temperate climate, the deck and back yard are wonderful year-round for dining outside, entertaining, reading and relaxing. The deck has a retractable awning and built in electric heaters.

Comments: This spacious, light-filled unit is behind our home, where the two of us live. It opens onto a peaceful deck and garden that are shared with the main house. The master suite is the entire second floor. Downstairs is open plan.

Comments: Quiet, fully furnished retreat in a walkable, culture-rich, diverse neighborhood. Close to great amenities and activities. Parks, recreation, restaurants, cafes, pubs . . . Easy commute to Cal campus.
