A beautiful, comfortable and welcoming home in the 20th arrondissement of Paris This beautiful 63 m², three-room apartment offers a particularly comfortable living environment, whether you are coming to Paris for research, teaching, a sabbatical, or simply an extended stay. The apartment consists of a large and bright living room (30 m²), a master bedroom with a high-quality 160 × 200 cm bed, and a study with a desk and a comfortable sofa bed (140 × 190 cm), which can easily accommodate an additional guest. The apartment has a very comfortable Italian-style walk-in shower and a separate toilet. The fully equipped open-plan kitchen includes an oven, microwave, three induction hobs, an electric kettle, a large refrigerator/freezer, and everything you may need for cooking. There is plenty of storage space throughout the apartment, as well as free Wi-Fi. The light wooden floors and the large windows in the living room give the apartment a particularly bright and pleasant atmosphere. During warmer months, a ceiling fan keeps the living room comfortable. The dining area features an extendable table that can seat up to six people, as well as two bar stools for more informal meals. A very large and comfortable sofa provides an inviting place to relax, read, work, or welcome friends and colleagues. Quality bed linen and plenty of towels are, of course, provided. The apartment is on the fifth floor of a modern building with an elevator. The entrance to the building is secured by a digicode. The neighborhood The apartment is located just a five-minute walk from Alexandre Dumas metro station (Line 2), in the 20th arrondissement, in the lively and charming neighborhood sometimes known as the “village of Bagnolet.” Père Lachaise Cemetery and Place de la Réunion are both just a minute away. The neighborhood has a genuine local atmosphere, with numerous cafés, restaurants, bakeries, shops and other everyday amenities all within easy walking distance. It is a wonderful area in which to experience a more residential and authentic side of Paris while remaining very well connected to the rest of the city. A real home rather than a rental property One thing I would particularly like to emphasize is that this is the apartment where I live throughout the year. This is precisely why it is so comfortable and well equipped: it is a real home, rather than a property furnished specifically for short-term rental. I am therefore looking for tenants who will treat the apartment with the same care they would give their own home. In return, you will enjoy a warm, lived-in space, including the beautiful plants that contribute so much to its character. I would simply ask you to water them during your stay! Length of stay and special rate I rent the apartment for a minimum of three weeks. For stays of five weeks or more, I am happy to discuss the price. In particular, if you are interested in renting the apartment for the entire period offered here, from November 2026 through January 15, 2027, I can offer a particularly attractive rate: seven weeks for €4,000 instead of €5,250. The apartment is offered at a rate significantly below comparable market prices. This arrangement allows me to spend time abroad conducting international research while helping to cover the cost of my own accommodation during those periods.
