Light, Quiet, Furnished In-town Adam's Morgan Apartment

Lovely two bedroom apartment. One bedroom is now set up as an office -- although easy to convert into a bedroom (there is a mattress in there folded in the corner). I tend to work in the living room, as it has a nice big window and is light and quiet. The street is relatively quite (slow moving residential side street). There is a grade school on the block and the playground abuts the back of the house -- after school and on the weekends the schoolyard is closed, so the back is silent at night. In the day I rarely ever hear the children playing -- that is from the master bedroom in back. They are unobtrusive and cannot be heard at all from anywhere else in the apartment. There is a gas grill on the back porch (please refill the gas tanks if you empty them) -- and two chairs and a small table on the porch to boot! My upstairs and downstairs neighbors are very quiet -- upstairs I hear occasional footsteps. Please also be quiet when here. The neighborhood is great as you can easily walk to the Adams Morgan or over to Mount Pleasant where there are plenty of restaurants. There is a supermarket one block away (Harris Teeter) and a Safeway and CVS and Ace Hardware just a few blocks away. In the hallway from the living/dining/kitchen area to the bedrooms you will find a second bathroom and the washer and dryer. The house is fully furnished and has dishes and all the cookware you could ever want -- fully equipped! I have emptied the dresser and two of three master-bedroom closets, cleared surfaces and left ample empty bookshelves for your use. I am using one closet in the house to store my private things. I have my things stored in two closets -- one in the bedroom (there are two others) and one under the stairs in the living room. You have two closets in the bedroom, a hallway linen closet and a closet in the office. All are freed up for your use. I will clear off the living room bookshelves. But, the office book shelves are pretty full. I'll make some room there for you. But had to put the books somewhere! :) All I ask is that the person occupying the apartment use the apartment -- including cookware and dishes -- with the care they would take were it their own place. What more could you want! :) I enjoy living here. I think you will too.
