About our home I’m a Cornell Fellow in Ithaca, NY, looking for a family who will take good care of our home while I’m working on a project in LA. Dates are very flexible, as we may rent for one or two years. Our spacious, welcoming Craftsman home is in historic “Professors Row,” just a short walk to Cornell University, Collegetown restaurants, and downtown Ithaca. Our home is gorgeous and comfortable—but it’s a home, not a hotel. Bedrooms: Three on the second floor, 2–3 on the third floor Master Suite: bedroom, whirlpool room with two sinks, bathroom, and walk-in closet Kitchen: our stunning, newly renovated eat-in kitchen with cherry cabinetry and concrete-topped island Dining: our craftsman-style dining room with expandable mission table Bathrooms: 2 classic with showers, 1 clawfoot tub & shower Overview Our home is mostly fully renovated, with a gorgeous new kitchen and roomy master bedroom, but it’s also a historic 100-year-old home. Guests should treat it with care, respecting its character. Access and Security Renters receive our front door code. Our home is protected by ADT. Neighborhood & Convenience 5-minute walk to Collegetown (restaurants, grocery, Ithaca Beer) 6-minute walk to Cornell Law School 15–20-minute walk to downtown, grocery store, and pharmacy Close to many of Ithaca’s stunning gorges Excellent public schools nearby, with a park around the corner Other things to note Our acting studio connected to the home may be active during your stay. It is not invasive, and students have a completely separate entrance and bathroom with no access to our home.
