The flat was fully refurbished in 2021. It is on the fifth floor of a historic Berlin Building (1937) and retains features such as large original windows and terrazzo flooring in the kitchen. The U3 (Hohenzollernplatz), U9 (Spichernstr), U7(Fehrbelliner Platz), S-Bahn (Savignyplatz) and various bus connections are all between a 4 and 15 minutes walk away. A Sunday shop is only a 20 minute walk should you need emergency groceries! The U3 (4 mins away) will take you straight to the FU campus, as well as into the heart of the vibrant Friedrichshain packed with culture and city life. There are bike racks at the back of the building. Please note that there is no lift/elevator.

Comments: A lively, yet quiet location at the heart of old West Berlin. Great cafes, restaurants and bars just a step away, and only a 10 minute walk from the famous KuDamm (shopping central). A food market in a 4 minute walk on the Hohenzollernplatz, and both a flee market and a food market take place on the Fehrbellinerplatz only 12 minutes away.
