We are a teaching couple living abroad during the school year, seeking a respectful tenant to enjoy our warm, family-friendly home while we’re away. This is a school year rental only—we live here in the summer with our two young daughters. Our cozy second-floor apartment sits on a quiet, tree-lined street in the heart of Mile-End, close to parks, playgrounds, and all the beloved cafés, bakeries, restaurants, and specialty shops along Bernard and throughout the neighborhood. About the space: 2 bedrooms: - The parents’ bedroom includes a queen bed, dresser, and nightstands; - The children’s bedroom shares space with half of the double salon, with a twin-sized bunk bed (max 250 lbs), a tall dresser, and bookshelves. - Double salon: One half serves as the children’s room, the other as a cozy family space with a sectional sofa and desk. - Office: A separate room with desk, chair, bookshelves, printer, monitor, and access to a charming balcony. - Eat-in kitchen: Bright and welcoming with bay windows and a table that seats 7–8. Fully stocked with an electric stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. There are three closets, ample shelving, and street parking available. The apartment is fully furnished and move-in ready. Best of all, we have wonderful neighbors and a warm community. We love our home and hope to find someone who will love and care for it just as much during the school year.

Comments: Our cozy apartment has very desirable amenities - it is located in a residential street just a couple of blocks away from supermarkets, restaurants, & other shops. It is also very close to the underground metro & many other bus routes.

Comments: Our rate includes utilities (electric, water, heat and wifi internet), as well as a bi-weekly cleaning service. Also, we require a security deposit of $500 whose refund is contingent upon the state/condition to which the apartment is left.

We have plants that need to be watered weekly or every two weeks. The cleaning person takes care of them when we are not in town, but we'd appreciate it if our plants were cared for by the tenant, as well.

Comments: The pool and gym at the YMCA is just a 10 min walk on avenue du Parc. There are other gyms and pools nearby that you can consider. In the warmer months, the pool is open at Parc Kennedy just a few blocks away.

Comments: As we are teaching abroad & live here during the summers, we would prefer to rent to someone with a similar schedule - someone who is working in (or from) Montreal temporarily during the school year.
