The space availalbe is a lovely one bedroom garden-level apartment with living room, kitchenette, bedroom, bath, and laundry facilities in the lower (ground) level of my home. The home is adjacent to an expansive city park (Hoyt Park) with wooded trails and is two miles to the University and under two miles to the University Hospital and the VA hospital; one mile from grocery, restaurants, and Hilldale Mall with retail shops. This has been a great place for graduate students, visiting faculty, and medical personnel. The space does not have a conventional kitchen but is outfitted with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, garbage disposal, induction hotplate, Instant Pot, rice maker, and many other appliances. This would not be the space for a hobby baker, but is well equipped for everyday food preparations. The main house kitchen oven is available with notice. In addition to the photos provided, a workspace with roomy desk and chair and a second leather couch have been added to the living area. The house has a lovely front deck under mature burr oak trees and a grill that is available upon request. Bike trails to campus, downtown, and to neighboring communities are nearby. Madison is a fantastic city to bike in and I can make room for a bike or two in the garage if needed.

Comments: The kitchenette does not have a conventional oven but is has a microwave, toaster oven, blender, induction hot plate, rice cooker, electric fry pan, and InstaPot. The house oven is available upon request. Desk and office chair have been added.

Comments: Garden level apartment in home bordering wooded city park. 1 mile from Hilldale and Whole Foods; under 2 miles to UW Hospital and the UW. Close to dining, shopping, lakes. Ideal for visiting scholars, postdocs, and medical students and staff.
