1 bedroom offered in a two bedroom flat in a small apartment block in the Edwardian village of Muswell Hill. Sharing with myself and small dog. A lovely, light and airy newly decorated first floor flat situated on Muswell Hill with fantastic views across London. Muswell Hill is an Edwardian village teeming with life and with easy access to woods and parks as well as transport links into London and beyond. The centre of Muswell Hill is literally a couple of minutes walk, where you will find interesting, independent cafes, shops and restaurants – including a world famous fish and chip shop and Martyns, one of the oldest dry goods provision stores in London, who also roast their own coffee beans and sell from the shop. There are also banks, supermarkets (Waitrose, Marks & Spencers, Sainsburys) as well as Planet Organic and several clothes shops. The bedroom has a small double bed, with a desk and TV. There is also use of a spacious sitting room with dining table, bathroom and a well equipped kitchen with washing machine, oven and fridge. The bathroom has a shower and a tub and a very effective drying rack which operates on a pulley system. To ensure piece of mind, the bedroom will be deep cleaned before any rental. The block of flats has a respectful community and is a quiet area. Buses to central London, Highgate and Finsbury Park underground stations are a few minutes walk away, and you can be in central London - and King’s Cross/St.Pancras/Euston stations - within 30 minutes. The 43 and 143 buses run all night. There is masses of green space in all directions with ALEXANDRA PALACE which has an ice skating rink, theatre and currently open air cinema, boating pond, Go Ape and cafe. There is a Sunday morning Farmers’ Market, a 5 minute walk away. HIGHGATE WOOD and the charming HIGHGATE VILLAGE (and Highgate Cemetery) are a twenty minute walk, Hampstead village & Hampstead Heath (and Kenwood House) about 2 miles and Camden Town & Camden Market are about 4 miles. Staying here lets you experience the best of life in London whilst providing a green, quiet haven to live and work in. The apartment has free on street parking and is conveniently located for easy access to most London Universities (e.g. Birkbeck, SOAS and UCL can be reached in 20 minutes, LSE in 25), Whittington, UCL, and Middlesex Hospitals.
