The deck has table and chairs and a landscaped garden, the neighborhood is a bird sanctuary. The neighborhood is five minutes from Georgetown University 10 minutes from American University and 15 minutes walking to the French Embassy and is central to restaurants, museums, and access to biking and hiking. The residence is private to you. Four adult occupancy only. $7,050 including the cleaning fee at departure. Security Deposit of $1,500 will reserve your home and be returned to you after you depart. There is one closet for your clothing. Also a dresser drawers. The main bathroom has a bath tub and shower with skylight. The second bedroom has a California full size bed for one person. Also, there is a large bathroom with shower. The kitchen is on the southern exposure and has full light all day. It is a very pleasant place to sit and read. There are televisions in the living room, the kitchen, and bedroom. Central to restaurants, museums, and universities. Bus lines run frequently. Upper Georgetown/Burleith neighborhoods are full of cultural activity. The National Cathedral, Georgetown Univ. the Phillips Collection and Corcoran Gallery, are in walking distance. The Smithsonian museums are a 15 minute bus ride. The Studio Theater and the Wolly Mammoth Theater are close by. There are two landscaped parks 2 minutes away: Montrose and Dumbarton Oaks for hikes and bird watching. The closest metros are Dupont and Foggy Bottom. The Georgetown Waterfront is beautiful on the Potomac and there are biking as well as hiking along the river. Covid cleaning has been done once a week although I am the only one in the home. The owner is a retired professor. She travels quite a bit. The home has access to an excellent bus system, running every five minutes, crossing the city in each direction. This is a quiet neighborhood with residents who have small children. No parties are allowed and noise should be reduced at 9 PM. Absolutely no pets and no smoking either outside on the deck or in the house.
